Environment Agency data shows the total tonnage of waste fluorescent lamps collected int he UK dropped from 7,529/t in 2015 to 6,315/t in 2016. That decline almost certainly heralds a further steady decline in 2017 and beyond. This article asks why is this happening, and what are the consequences.
