Waterford Crystal Millennium Project Shines On New York City

Waterford Crystal has won a commission to create a six foot crystal ball as the prime symbol of the New Year's Eve Millennium celebrations to be held in New York's Times Square. The company will have the right to elect an illuminated message, lasting one minute, for every day over a three year period. The first one will be "Waterford Crystal, the crystal of the new millennium".
