Pennine Industrial now offers a full range of inverted tooth conveyor chains and sprockets with the patent-pending Pennine Head Protector systems HPL & DHPL). Its designs are totally interchangeable with the products of all other chain manufacturers and will now fit all IS machines and cross conveyors with no need for any modifications to sprockets or guides. Its head protector link systems have been available for several years, and use a traditional design based on a solid and simple idea. The problem was that the very solidness of the product mean the HPL would not fit on a centre or side guided sprocket without modifications being made. Because of this, Pennine developed the protector link so glassmakers could use it with multi guide, centre guide or side guide, without needing to modify the sprocket.
