Mexican glass giant Vitro has entered into a technical assistance agreement with Allied Glass it was announced 8 Sept/05. Under the agreement, Allied will provide a practical support programme, structured around its knowledge & experience in the production of intricate bottle shapes. This commits Allied to providing a designated team of specialists who will visit Vitro production facilities to give technical assistance, & provide bespoke training programmes at their 2 UK sites. Allied will also be responsible for giving support, including the production of specification & mould drawings & 3D modeling for shaped containers."We are honored to work with Allied in order to provide our current & future customers with innovative products that will allow them to be ahead of the consumer market trend", said A Gomez Palacio, President of Vitro's Glass Containers business unit.
