A new concept in glass coating lacquer has been announced by Akzo Nobel. VITESSE bottle lacquer has been launched as an extremely clear platform lacquer that not only provides outstanding aesthetic results but is environmentally compliant in all aspects. VITESSE has been developed as a thermally-cured water thinnable glass coating system, and is available in an extensive variety of colours and textures. VOC compliant, the product has excellent health and safety credentials and, requiring no primer, can be sprayed wet on wet for a one-operation, multicoloured application. The colour options are wide ranging, from micas to aluminiums to special effects pigments. Even the clear base can be tinted to meet customer's specifications.
