Viridor Wins Planning Concent For New Glass Recycling Facility

Waste management firm, Viridor, has won planning consent for a glass recycling facility in Midlothian. Viridor, which already operates a site at Dalhousie Business Park, Bonnyrigg, will add a mobile glass crusher and screening plant after councillors gave the go-ahead. Viridor works in partnership with local councils, waste management companies and third party organisations, taking used bottles and other waste glass from consumer and industry sources for recycling. Nick Davison, general manager of Viridor Glass Recycling, said: "We're delighted with this result."
