Virginia Site For New Plant

Martinsburg in West Virginia has been named as the site for Guardian Fiberglass's newest plant. 200 acres of land and a 700,000ft2 building have been purchased and will be converted into a US$35m facility boosting the manufacturer's presence in the region. West Virginia was chosen on the basis of its competitive business costs. Construction of the plant is expected to begin as soon as possible and it is likely to take 12 months before commercial operations begin. (whole item)
