Vidrala Makes An Offer For Encirc Ltd

iIt was reported in the news that Spanish container glass manufacturer Vidrala has presented an offer to purchase Encirc Limited, which has activities in Derrylin, Ireland and Elton, UK and has produced container glass since the end of the 1990s. The company has invested about EUR 640 million into its production sites in recent years. No final result of the outcome of negotiations or the offer presented via the subsidiary company Inverbeira Sociedad de Promoción de Empresas has been published. Vidrala reported a profit of EUR 40.2 million for the first nine months of 2014, which signifies a loss of 1.5% compared to same period in the previous year. Sales went down by 1.6% to 362.8 Million compared to 2013.
