Vidrala - 2008 Profit Up 5.42%

Spanish glass container manufacturer Vidrala reported a net profit for 2008 of 40.6M/Euros ($51.4M), up 5.42% year-on-year. Sales rose by 9.57% to Eur 387.2m, boosted mainly by Vidrala's business diversificaiton & growth on international markets. EBITDA rose by 17% to Eur 59.7m while EBIT rose by 16.89% to 59.7M Euros.
