Vetropack Straza, located close to the Croation-Slovenian border, is part of the Vetropack Group, An EU container glass maker with a policy of expanding into eastern Europe. Vetropack owns glass plants and operating companies in Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine and Croatia. Specialising in "tailor-made" glass, the Group is the market leader in five of its six home markets. Since 1991, Vetropack has been investing consistently in the eastern EU market - a region becoming increasingly important for the international food and beverage industry.
