Verrerie Cristallerie D'Arques (Vca)

Verrier Cristallerie d'Arques (VCA) is investing in two new furnaces. The glassmaker has just begun the construction of its first furnace which will have a capacity of 100 tonnes. The investment represents between Fr200 and Fr250m. It is expected to be completed in the autumn of 1999 and will replace less efficient older machinery. In addition, VCA is hoping to build a new furnace for crystal which will hold between 20 and 30 tonnes/glass at its plant in Blaringhem at the end of 1999. (whole item)
