Emhart Glass has introduced the latest addition to the Veritas series, the Veritas iC sidewall inspection system, which detects opaque and transparent sidewall and sidewall stress defects and dimensional flaws. The Veritas iC can be operated as a stand-alone machine or integrated with other Veritas modules. The new inspection platform is capable of speeds up to 600bpm and is based on state-of-the-art non-contact inspection, with no job change parts. The Veritas iC is the completion of the Veritas series which includes: the Veritas iM, providing plug/dip gauging, check detection, topical wall thickness inspection, and mould number reading in a starwheel handler; and the Veritas iB, providing vision base, base stress, sealing surface, plug and dip inspection, as well as mould number reading in a high-speed belt handler.
