Val St-Lambert - Mosane Still In Race For Purchase

Belgium's Walloon regional government has announced in a statement that holding company Mosane SA, of Belgium is still in with a chance of purchasing Val St-Lambert, the publicly-owned Belgian decorative glassmaker, although Crystal Atlantis of Portugal is also in the running. Walloon president Mr R Collignon indicated that Crystal Atlantis, with its international distribution network, was the forerunner. However, he stated that there were questions about the de-localisation (of jobs) and the transfer of the company know-how (outside Belgium).
