[Usa] United Spirits Begins Bottling Whyte & Mackay Whisky In India

The COO of United Spirits, NR Rajsekher, said that the company has commenced bottling of Scotch whisky Whyte & Mackay Special in its plant at Nashik, India. According to the executive, the plant can bottle a maximum of 200,000 bottles/pa. In 2007, United Spirits acquired Whyte & Mackay, the largest selling whisky in Scotland. United Spirits said that the whisky, which was recently launched in India, will be rolled out first to the north and then the southern regions of the country.
