Pernod Ricard's Beefeater brand recently released Beefeater Summer Edition Gin in the USA. The limited-edition gin has a lighter flavor that was designed to reflect the more relaxed style of summer drinking, the company says. Beefeater Summer Edition Gin was created with the 9 natural botanicals used for Beefeater London Dry Gin with the addition of elderflower, black currant and hibiscus. The gin is 40% alcohol by volume compared to Beefeater's standard 47% content. The edition is available until the end of summer in 750-ml glass bottles for a suggested retail price of $19.99 in the US.
