Anchor Glass Container Corp announced 7 Oct/05 that it has entered into a new long-term agreement with Snapple Beverage Corp & Mott's LLP to continue to supply their glass requirements through to 2008 for certain items in their product lines including Snapple, Yoo Hoo, Nantucket Nectars, Mistic & Mott's items. "Completing this contract is an extremely important step in our restructuring process," said Mark Burgess, CEO of Anchor. "We are excited about continuing our relationship with this very important customer & look forward to supplying quality glass containers to Mott's & Snapple for the next several years". Anchor is the third largest manufacturer of glass containers in the US. The corporation filed on 8 Aug/05 to reorganize under Chapter 11 in US Bankruptcy Court in Tampa, listing assets of USD 661.5M & debts of USD 666.5M in the filing.
