Us Spirits Industry "Extremely Concerned" About Tariff Effects

The Distilled Spirits Council is "extremely concerned" about potential tariffs on US spirits, saying such levies "would severely harm producers, US farmers ... distribution and logistics providers, as well as other input providers such as glass and other packing suppliers." The organization's concerns follow the announcement that China would impose a 25% tariff on American whiskey.
