Upconversion Fluorescence In Ho3+ Doped Zncl2 Glass

Ho3+ doped chloride glasses were prepared by the melt-quenching method. The up-conversion fluorescence of Ho3+ was observed under the excitation by a Kr ion laser at room temperature.
