Ultrasonic Mould Cleaning

An innovative system for high cavitation ultrasonic cleaning of moulds, has been created by cleaning equipment specialist Ecotecne, located in Italy. The system is a fast cleaning process that is carried out in immersion tanks containing alternatively, ultrasound-activated alkaline and acid solutions. These inhibited chemicals were formulated and provided by Henkel. The whole system is PC-controlled and handling is by means of a robotic truck. The result is a method that is compact, practical, flexible, as well as economically priced and ecological.
