Uk Gin Sales Break £1Bn Barrier

The Wines & Spirit Trade Association said that sales of gin in the 12 months to end August came in at £1.25BN. Earlier in the year, the WSTA froedase said the sector would break £1bn by 2017. In volume terms, gins ales accounted for 11.5% of the UK spirits market in 2015, a 25% rise over 2014.
