Uk Container Group Benefits From Investment

A £20m investment by the Rockware group in two of its factories has been targeted at impvoring the plants' flexibility and efficiency. Part of the programme at the Headlands plant in Knottingley and the Wheatley plant in Doncaster has been devoted to the development of NNPB technology for the production of lightweight containers. However, the newly-installed forming machines will also be used for blow and blow and widemouth press and blow processes. The machines are also capable of operating in both double and triple gob configurations.
