Ug Line Speeds Launch

Newly designed 700ml, 750ml and 1 litre white flint bottles from United Glass (UG) have been used to re-launch the 18-year-old variant of Chivas Brothers' Glenlivet Malt whisky. The bottle follows the "family image" created by the 12-year-old, incorporating familiar features such as curved shoulders and slightly bulbous long neck. The cartouche detail has been removed to leave a blank elliptical flat edge through the shoulder profile for a new self-adhesive label. UG turned the project round in just 10 weeks - from initial design approval to bulk manufacture, thanks to close co-operation between the two parties and recent investment in flexible production technology at UG Alloa.
