The Jebel Ali Container Glass Factory is a modern glass container plant located at Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, UAE. It has one recuperative glass melting furnace with a capacity of 320/tpd, supported by 3 advanced IS glass forming machines (12 sections triple gob each, convertable to double gob) supplied by Emhart. The 3 AIS machines are capable of producing around 1.6M/units per day. The plant makes mainly flint & green glass containers. The batch process is fully automatic & is controlled by a computerised system supplied by Zippe. The plant has been equipped with on-line base scanners, total inspection machines & squeeze testers, along with major laboratory equipment. The factory is ISO 9001 accredited & has been approved by South African Breweries & Master Foods, Australia, thereby opening a new door for the supply of glass bottles to these markets.
