Land Infrared has introduced two infrared line scanning heads, specifically designed for measuring glass temperatures and two dedicated signal processors, LPU-2 and LPU-2E. The systems were designed to provide customised instrumentation which can be integrated into new and existing plant information and process control computer systems. The LS51 and LS52 sensing heads cover temperature ranges of 250-850 deg C and 500-1100 deg C respectively and are designed to continuously monitor holloware, tubes and float glass during forming, toughening and annealing.
