The World Beverage Competition conferred three awards, including a Platinum Award, to TricorBraun customers. China Mist won a Platinum and a Bronze Award in the Tea Division for its Pure Wild Blueberry Green Tea and its Pure Lotus Pear Green Tea respectively. In the Packaging Division, the Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka package won a Bronze Award. The China Mist 500-ml bottles are made of flint glass with a 33/2080 neck finish. They feature a tapered waist, applied ceramic labelling with the product name embossed on its shoulder. The closure is a medium deep silver lug cap with a plastisol liner. The Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka uses 750-ml, one-litre and 1.75-liter Herencia, flint glass bottles with Guala snap plastic closures. Embellishments included clear, pressure-sensitive labels and printed, coloured closures. The World Beverage Competition considered entries in 22 categories from 30 countries. With more than 10,000 entries, it is recognized as one of largest and most prestigious competitions.
