Training Success

Employers throughout the UK attended the AGM of the glass industry's national training organisation, the Glass NTO, which was held in Sheffield recently. Awards were presented to individual learners, glass qualifications training providers and to people that had substantially contributed to the work of the NTO over the last year. This work has included over 2000 visits to employers and over 14000 calls for advice and guidance. In addition, 2500 employees are working towards formal qualifications through a "learning pathways" approach developed by the Glass NTO.
