Rolf Borjesson will officially open the 2004 Total Processing & Packaging Exhibition at the NEC on 29 March/04, at 1400 hours. Borjesson is the one individual credited with making Rexam PLC into the force it is today, leading the transformation of Rexam into a global force in consumer packaging with sales in excess of £3.3BN. He took over in 1996, turning the company into one of the world's top five consumer packaging groups, the world's leading beverage can maker and the UK's leading packaging manufacturer. The company is also one of the main EU glass container manufacturers and enjoys leading positions in plastic packaging for the beauty, pharmaceutical and food industries. This spring, Borjesson takes up a new role as Chairman of the group.
