Swa Considers Appeal

The Scotch Whisky Association has said it may appeal to the UK's highest court after Scotland's justice system delivered a major blow to its efforts again Scotland's justice system delivered a major blow to its efforts against minimum pricing. Edinburgh's Court of Sessions in October ruled against an SWA challenge to legislation that would see the baseline price for a bottle of whisky set at £14.00. The SWA said it would review the ruling to decide on its next steps, "including any possible appeal to the UK Supreme Court".
