Superglass Sold

Superglass, the maker of glass wool insulation based at Stirling, Scotland, has been acquired by its management and the private equity group NBGI for £40M. The business was sold by the insulation distributor Encon. According to the company the deal will allow it to implement ambitious expansion plans. It intends to buy new product handling equipment in its first project.
