Distribution company Inspirit Brands is bringing a piece of Guyana to the UK with the launch of El Dorado rum. The range consists of a 3 Year Old white rum, and in the gold rum segment, a 5 Year Old, 12 Year Old, 15 Year Old and a 21 Year Old, as well as a super luxury 25 Year Old that is expected to retail for £300. Packaged in glass, it's the 3 Year Old that is expected to generate the most interest, even if not the most sales. The white rum, which states its age on its label, has been aged in oak barrels and then charcoal filtered to remove its colour. El Dorado, which for years operated only as a bulk rum producer for industry giants, has what it believes to be the biggest stock of aged rum in the business.
