Study Of The Working Cycle Of Glass Flow By The Method Of Analysing Convective Transfer Of Glass

The results of a study of convective transfer of glass in the basic sections of the working cycle of flow in three flat glass tanks are reported. Significant exchange of glass between the upper and lower flow layers along the length of the furnace was found independent of the design characteristics of the working end.
