Britvic's preliminary results to year end Sept/08 show that the group revenues were £926.5M, up 29.3% compared with the same period 2007, including a first full 52 week contribution from Britvic Ireland of £200.7M. GB & International revenues of £725.8M represent growth of 4.8% in the 52 week period. Paul Moody, CE said: "This is a strong performance achieved despite challenging trading & cost environments, delivering earnings per share growth of nearly 22%. What sets us apart this year is our winning combination of strong brands & the consistent execution of our point-of-purchase, innovation & marketing strategies." The cola market was up 3.7% in volumes to end Sept/08 with Pepsi outperforming this with an 8.1% market volume increase, enjoying its highest market share for 5 years.
