In 1995/6 (year to 30 November), the German drinks bottles manufacturer Gebrueder Stoevesandt AG, a subsidiary of Gerresheimer Glas AG, increased turnover against the truncated financial year January-November 1995 to DM76m (from DM67.8m). Investment rose to DM3m from DM1.4m while writedowns fell to DM6.5m (from DM7.7m). Profits of DM3.4m were transferred to the parent company. (whole item)
