The Governor of the state of Pennsylvania recently announced the granting of a US$1m loan to Schott Glass Technologies Inc. for their acquisition of the former Topps Co. facility in Duryea, Luzerne County. The company now employs 433 workers at an adjacent site and plans to add 181 new jobs through the US$4.3m project.
