Available from Ferlam Technologies is a range of stainless steel-based non-woven felts, dedicated to the glass industry. The range includes 100% stainless steel (316L) with or without reinforcement scrim, stainless steel para-aramid blending and stainless steel BPO blending. Products are available in different thicknesses, densities and weight/m2, depending on the application. Also offered by the company is a recently developed mould cleaning swab generation, for which a longer lifetime (6-8x) is claimed. These swabs are made-to-measure and feature a special blend of fibres that are resistant to high temperatures. For over 30 years, Ferlam Technologies has supplied a wide range of stainless steel square braids and tapes in different thicknesses and widths. These products can also be provided in stainless steel para-aramid blending or stainless steel/PBO blending and can be used on IS spare parts to replace existing carbon products, as well as for wheel transfers and on stacker bars.
