Spiced Up Fast Food

Indian sauce producer Patak's says it hopes to "revolutionise" the way UK consumers look at Indian food with its new range of "Spice Express" quick-cook sauces, packaged in a 350g Rockware jar with a super-deep twist cap. Specifically aimed at a younger audience for one-pan cooking in 7 minutes, the packaging was required to reflect their ease and speed of use while providing strong shelf stand-out. Patak's has a long-standing relationship with Rockware; the company was a key partner in the Patak's brand re-design in 2002. Rockware says that on the Spice Express range it was able to incorporate the "Patak's feel" while introducing elements such as the super-deep twist neck to give the package a younger, vibrant feel. The caps are produced by CMB Closures and the labels by Polestar.
