[Spain] Weight Of Cava Bottles Reduced

Spanish Cava maker Codorniu recently announced the launch of a project to reduce the weight of Cava bottles with the aim of saving glass and reducing emissions of carbon dioxide. The Catalan company said that the initiative is in the test phase and is part of the company environmental policy, including wastewater management, minimization of pesticide use and reduced energy expenditure. The project will begin with the launch of several bottles of reduced weight in the coming months.
