[South Korea] Pacificglas Invests In New Furnace

PacificGlas has announced that it will commission a new electric furnace and two production lines at its plant located 300km south of Seoul, South Korea, with an investment worth US$20M. The furnace is expected to operate at a capacity of 20 tons/day and is being introduced as part of the company's new commercial strategy "2015 Vision," which is aimed at acquiring new customers in Europe and the USA. The company currently employs around 450 people and operates five IS forming lines from a 50/tpd furnace, producing around 150M glass articles per year.
