Soft Drinks Deal

The Coca-Cola Co's Middle East joint-venture Aujan Coca-Cola Beverages Company, is to buy Lebanon's National Beverage Company. The deal is expected to complete in the first half of 2041, Aujan Coca-Cola said. No financial details have been disclosed. Nicolaas Nusmeier, CEO of Aujan Coca-Cola, said: "This partnership reflects our commitment to invest in beverages for long-term growth, and we look forward to developing and growing this business over time." The National Beverage Company is based in Beirut and manufactures and distributes Coca-Cola and its own-brand Pampa products in Lebanon. It is owned by Transmed.
