Smooth Switch To Rpet

Innocent has transferred all its fruit smoothie range into the new 100% recycled PET bottles that it first trialled last September. Innocent says it is the first drinks company to put 100% PET packaging on shelf. The company celebrated by changing the colour & shape of Innocent's logo to resemble the green recycling symbol in a limited edition label. The new bottles have 20% less plastic than the original pachaging & the carbon footprint of the packaging is reduced by 55%. Innocent sustainability manager Jessica Sansom says: "We created this special label as we want to make everyone aware of the benefits that moving to recycled bottles has had for us & to encourage everyone out there to take a look at what they can do to reduce their carbon footprint."
