Turkish glassmaker Sisecam said late in August that it had bought 76% of a Georgian glass company through a privatisation auction for US$3.242m. It said in a statement sent to the Istanbul Stock Exchange that it had purchased 76% of Mina AS from the Georgian State Property Ministry and pledged to invest US$10m in Mina over four years, including US$3m in the first year.
