Sisecam To Move Bulgarian Plant?

Turkish glassmaker, Sisecam, is considering changing the location for its planned new flat glass factory in Bulgaria. Originally, the plan was to build the new plant in Rousse, however, Bulgarian MP Ivo Tsanev has said that 'reliable sources' have indicated that it will now probably be sited in Targovishte. The reason for the possible change of location has been given as a tax concession. The flat glass production line will be the biggest Greenfield investment ever seen in Bulgaria, with an initial investment sum put at $100M. Sisecam currently has a 9% market share of EU flat glass production capacity.
