Sisecam of Turkey and Schott-Zwiesel Glaswerke of Germany have reportedly agreed to a DM100m joint-venture for household glassware production in Eskiesehir, central Turkey. According to Sisecam chief Adnan Caglyan, the plant will start up in 1999 with a workforce of 600, and with output destined for export. (whole item)
