Sisecam Introduce New Single End Roving

Sisecam has introduced a new single end roving - WR5 - to the composites market. WR5 single end roving is made of E-glass fibers and is designed especially for weaving processes. Sisecam claims that the product has good unwinding, high process performance, no fuzz, lower tex count, fast and complete wet out and high mechanical properties. The silane based sizing is compatible with polyester, vinylester and epoxy resins. WR5 is being requested by weavers in multiaxial and woven reinforcement products and it is recommendable for marine, building and industrial applications.
