Silent Chain For Ware Handling

For large production units and high production speeds, characteristics of modern glass container production, accurate and trouble-free transport of articles is essential. Heye-Glas of Germany have recently developed the Heye Silent Chain for transferring bottles sideways onto and off the conveyor. With links and washers made of high-quality, heat-treated steel, and pins made of case-hardened steel, the chain is based on the "V-pin/flat pin" system. This enables the chain to operate in a stable and reliable manner even under conditions such as high temperatures and dry surfaces, according to the maker.
