A series of metal detectors has been launched by Safeline. The Powerphase range has multi-frequency capability making it more versatile. Detection sensitivity is increased through a redesigned detector head or coil system and electronics control module. Processors can choose operating frequency and can optimise operations for production lines which run more than one product. Overall performance and product yield is improved by a feature called "Enhanced Vibration Immunity" which eliminates the risk of false rejects. Limitations imposed by equipment vibration which has in the past affected the sensitivity of metal detectors is no loger a problem.
