Secondary Packaging Is No Longer Secondary

Back in the old days you drank beer in the pub; Bitter or Best or perhaps one of these new fangled keg ales. Branding and TV advertising had begun in earnest. If you fancied a beer at home, you could pop around to the off licence, but that had to be before closing time for 24 hour opening was long in the future. Bottles were returnable and labels were minimalist. This article takes a look at retail-ready packages, including a handy curry house takeaway box complete with two bottles of Cobra.
