Second Plant For Mexicali

Mexicali (part of the NSG Group) produces car windscreens for the automotive AGR and OE markets. The company is strategically positioned to export to North, Central and S America. £9M has recently been invested to boost the operation's capacity by around 30%. A new facility has been built just 50 metres away from the existing plant and is scheduled to launch in early 2012, creating 160 new jobs locally. Rick Frampton, VP, AGR N & S America said: "The current AGR market in N America brings the opportunity to increase our market share significantly. At the same time, the overall vehicle market in Mexico is increasing."
