Scotch Sales Bounce Back

Scotch whisky exports were up more than 3% in value terms over the first six months of 2017. According to figures released by the SWA, overall export sales rose 3.4% to £1.8bn. Meanwhile, total volumes dropped 2% to 528m bottles. The largest segment, bottled blends, saw export value increase 2.3% to £1.15bn compared to the same period a year earlier.
