Scotch Continues Its March Forward

Scotch whisky exports to the US broke the £1bn barrier for the first time in 2018. Citing data from HMRC, the Scotch Whisky Association (SWA) said that shipments of Scotch in the 12m of 2018 totalled £4.7bn. The figure represents a 7.8% increase in the previous year. In volume terms, exports also rose by 3.6% to 1.28bn 70cl bottles.
